The museum was created as part of the implementation of Project BG-RRP-11.020-0168-C01 – Digital Museum of Bulgarian Comedy, funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU instrument.
Within the Digital Museum of Comedy, a specialized section dedicated to visual and audio content has been developed, aiming to enrich the presentation of information and facilitate its understanding for different groups of users. This section combines various multimedia elements that complement the textual materials and create a more comprehensive and engaging user experience.
In the part dedicated to visual information, covers of books, newspapers, and magazines related to the development of comedy and the humorous tradition are included. These materials not only illustrate the content but also provide better cultural and historical orientation. Visual elements serve both informative and representative functions, helping to build a clearer understanding of the discussed works and their context.
This section also includes video materials that explore well-known topics in the field of comedy and present key moments and highlights from its historical development. They offer a more dynamic and accessible way of presenting information, emphasizing significant phenomena, figures, and works. The video content is designed with an international audience in mind and is equipped with English subtitles, making it accessible to users who do not speak Bulgarian.
